Airus Advisory (“Airus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you visit airusaccounting.com (the “Site”), submit a form, request a resource, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through the Site and through email or other electronic communication initiated from the Site. It does not apply to information you provide once a written engagement between you and Airus is in place; that information is governed by the engagement letter and any separate data processing terms agreed between the parties.

We collect the following categories of personal information:

• Identifiers and contact data you provide voluntarily through forms on the Site, including full name, business name, email address, telephone number, approximate annual revenue range, industry, and the free-text description of what you would like help with.
• Communications data contained in messages you send to us by email or through the Site, including any attachments and metadata.
• Internet and device data automatically collected when you visit the Site, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time and date of visit, and approximate location derived from IP address.
• Cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 7.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, biometric data, precise geolocation, or any “sensitive personal information” as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), through the Site. Do not submit such information through the Site.

3. Sources of Information

We collect personal information from the following sources:

• Directly from you when you submit a form, send an email, or otherwise interact with the Site.
• Automatically from your device or browser when you visit the Site.
• From service providers who operate the Site or process information on our behalf, as listed in Section 6.

4. How We Use Information

We use personal information for the following business purposes:

• To respond to your inquiries, schedule consultations, and provide requested resources.
• To evaluate whether our services are a fit for your business and to communicate with you about engagement options.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.

For visitors located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing are: (i) your consent, where you have provided it; (ii) the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps you have requested; (iii) compliance with a legal obligation; and (iv) our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site, communicating with prospective clients, and growing our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

5. Disclosure of Information

We disclose personal information only as described below:

• Service providers. We share personal information with vendors who process information on our behalf and only for our purposes, subject to written contractual obligations to maintain confidentiality and protect personal information.
• Professional advisors and affiliates. We may share information with our auditors, attorneys, insurers, and other professional advisors as reasonably necessary.
• Legal compliance and protection. We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, court order, or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Airus, our clients, or others.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of business assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not knowingly “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide the disclosures and opt-out rights required by applicable law.

6. Service Providers We Use

The following categories of service providers may process personal information on our behalf. This list reflects our current Site infrastructure and may change. Where a provider materially changes, we will update this list.

• Website hosting and content delivery. Vercel Inc., which hosts and delivers the Site.
• Transactional email delivery. Resend (Resend Inc.), which transmits form submissions from the Site to our internal email inbox.
• Email and productivity. Email service providers we use to receive, store, and respond to inquiries.
• Analytics. If we deploy analytics in the future, we will list the provider here and update Section 7 to reflect any cookies or similar technologies in use.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site currently uses only cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Site and to remember session-level preferences. We do not currently use advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies, or cookies that track you across other websites. If we add such technologies, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, present a cookie consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling all cookies may impact Site functionality.

8. Retention

We retain personal information collected through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and audit obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Inquiry and lead-form data is generally retained for up to 36 months from the last interaction unless a longer retention period is required by law or by a continuing client engagement. Server log data is retained for a shorter period reflecting operational and security needs.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have rights regarding your personal information. Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity, those rights may include:

• The right to know or access the personal information we hold about you.
• The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• The right to request deletion of personal information.
• The right to receive a copy of personal information you provided to us in a portable format.
• The right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
• The right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
• The right to withdraw any consent you previously provided, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
• The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where one applies.

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

11. Notice for California Residents

In the preceding twelve months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 (identifiers, contact data, internet activity information, and inferences derived from those categories) for the business purposes described in Section 4, and we have disclosed those categories to the service-provider categories listed in Sections 5 and 6. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may exercise the rights described in Section 10 by emailing info@airusaccounting.comwith the subject line “California Privacy Request.”

12. Notice for Residents of Other U.S. States

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states whose laws confer similar rights, may exercise the rights described in Section 10 by contacting us as set out above. If we deny a rights request, you may appeal that decision by replying to our denial; we will respond to appeals within the time frame required by applicable state law.

13. International Visitors

Airus operates from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Site you consent to that transfer. Where transfers from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland are subject to standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms, we will implement those mechanisms with the relevant service providers.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business owners, executives, and finance and operations professionals. It is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, contact us at info@airusaccounting.com and we will delete the information promptly.

15. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. There is no industry-standard interpretation of those signals at this time, and the Site does not respond to them. We will update this Section if a recognized standard emerges.

16. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not operate. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for those practices. Review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date and, where appropriate, by additional notice on the Site or by email to active correspondents. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
